Emi Emc Test Engineer

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Perform EMI / EMC testing as per international standards
• Conduct Conducted Emission & Conducted Immunity tests
• Perform Surge, EFT/Burst, PFMF, AC & DC Voltage Dips tests
• Conduct ESD (Contact & Air), Radiated Emission, and Radiated Immunity tests
• Carry out Temperature, Product Safety, Environmental, and SIL tests
• Handle CE Certification and product compliance activities
• Work with IEC 61010-1, UL 61010-1, IEC 61508 standards
• Assist in pre-compliance and final compliance testing
• Operate EMI/EMC chambers, LISN, CDN, EMI receivers, RF generators, spectrum analyzers
• Perform instrument testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Prepare test reports and technical documentation
• Handle NABL ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation procedures
• Prepare ISO 17025 documents, support audit handling, and quality manual preparation
• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Quality, and Certification teams

Key Skills

• Strong fundamentals of electronics and semiconductors
• Knowledge of Op-Amps, Bridge Rectifiers, 2-wire / 3-wire systems
• Familiarity with RS-485 communication protocol
• Schematic reading and measuring instrument knowledge
• Basic MS Office skills
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Eligibility

• Qualification: BE / BTech / Diploma Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical
• Experience: minimum 13 years relevant EMI/EMC experience
