Avera Heart Hospital (A Unit of Spero Hospital Pvt. Ltd.), Coimbatore is looking for a dedicated and competent Emergency Physician to join our Emergency Medicine team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate assessment, stabilization and management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Handle medical and cardiac emergencies and initiate appropriate emergency interventions.
• Perform rapid clinical assessment, triage and prioritization of patients.
• Manage emergency cases in coordination with Cardiologists, CTVS Surgeons, Intensivists and other specialists.
• Perform emergency procedures within the scope of practice and clinical expertise.
• Coordinate patient admission, transfer and referral when required.
• Ensure timely documentation of emergency consultations, treatment and procedures.
• Follow hospital protocols, emergency response procedures and patient-safety standards.

Qualification

• MBBS with MD/DNB/MEM/MRCEM in Emergency Medicine will be preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with experience in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care or Cardiac Emergency Care will be preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and emergency management skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make timely clinical decisions.
• Good knowledge of emergency protocols and resuscitation.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work in shifts.
• Be in-charge of BLS/ACLS training & structure
