Job Description Emergency Medicine Doctor

Position: Consultant – Emergency Medicine
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Department: Emergency Medicine

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Manage medical emergencies, trauma, critical and unstable patients.
• Perform emergency procedures including CPR, airway management, intubation, and other life-saving interventions as required.
• Coordinate with consultants and other departments for timely referrals and further management.
• Monitor critically ill patients and ensure appropriate escalation of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their attendants.
• Participate in emergency response, clinical audits, training, and quality-improvement activities.

Qualification

• MBBS with MD in Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Relevant experience in Emergency Medicine will be an added advantage.

Desired Skills

• Strong emergency and critical-care management skills.
• Good clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Experience in handling trauma and acute medical emergencies.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night duties.
