Role Responsibilities

• Deliver immediate, life-saving interventions for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and septic emergencies-managing resuscitation, airway control, and stabilization.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams during mass casualty incidents or code blue events-coordinating nurses, paramedics, and specialists under high-pressure conditions.
• Implement clinical protocols aligned with Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Indian Emergency Medicine standards.
• Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medico-legal requirements and hospital audit trails.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives-reviewing mortality/morbidity cases, reducing ED length-of-stay, and optimizing resource allocation.
• Train junior doctors and nursing staff on emergency algorithms, procedural skills, and communication during critical events.

Skills Qualifications

Must-Have

• DM Emergency Medicine / DNB Emergency Medicine / MD General Medicine with emergency rotation experience
• ACLS certification
• ATLS certification
• Proficiency in trauma cardiac resuscitation
• Experience in managing ICU/ED patient flow
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation

Preferred

• Experience in teaching or mentoring junior doctors
• Exposure to disaster response or mass casualty drills
• familiarity with clinical decision support tools or mobile code documentation platforms
