Embedded Software Developer

Key Responsibilities 

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for real-time systems. 

Implement and integrate IEC 61850 protocols (MMS, GOOSE, SV). 

Develop and optimize applications on embedded Linux platforms. 

Work on communication stacks, networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP). 

Perform system integration, debugging, and performance tuning. 

Develop low-level drivers and middleware components as required. 

Collaborate with hardware, system, and testing teams. 

Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC 61850, IEC 60870,MODEBUS etc.). 

Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports. 

Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards. 

Technical Skills 

Strong experience in C/C++ programming for embedded systems. 

Hands-on experience with IEC 61850 protocol stack development or integration. 

Proficiency in Linux development (user space and/or kernel space). 

Experience with embedded systems debugging tools (GDB, Wireshark, etc.). 

Good understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLAN). 

Knowledge of real-time systems and multi-threading. 

Experience with build systems (Make, CMake, Yocto, Buildroot).
