About this role
We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Linux Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Embedded Linux system software and BSP development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in U-Boot, Linux kernel, device drivers, device tree, Yocto, and embedded application development using C/C++ and Qt/QML.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop Embedded Linux BSPs for custom hardware platforms and SoCs.
- Develop and maintain U-Boot bootloader for board bring-up and secure boot.
- Port, configure, and debug Linux kernel for custom boards.
- Design and implement Linux device drivers.
- Develop Device Tree (DTS/DTSI) files.
- Build and customize Yocto-based Linux distributions.
- Debug boot and runtime issues using JTAG, GDB, and hardware tools.
- Develop embedded applications using C/C++ and Qt/QML.
- Optimize performance, boot time, and power.
- Collaborate with hardware and FPGA teams.
- Document system architecture and development guidelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Embedded Linux development experience.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience with U-Boot, Linux kernel, and device drivers.
- Expertise in Device Tree and Yocto.
- Experience with Qt/QML.
- Familiarity with ARM-based SoCs.
- Proficiency with Git and debugging tools.
Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics or Computer Science.
- BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) or Diploma in Electronics / Computer Science with a strong embedded systems background.
