Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to take responsibility for the development of system firmware for camera products. 

In this position, you will be involved throughout the entire development process, from firmware design and implementation to evaluation and product commercialization, while working with a clear understanding of product specifications and hardware architecture. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for camera systems
• Program and implement embedded firmware
• Design firmware architecture
• Develop camera control functions
• Develop firmware for controlling image sensors and various devices
• Perform debugging, functional verification, and performance improvements
• Coordinate technical requirements and issues between hardware and software teams
• Provide technical support for product mass production

Requirements

Must-Have

• Experience in firmware development for cameras, video equipment, or embedded products 
• Experience implementing embedded firmware using C/C++ or similar languages
• 2+ years of experience in system firmware design and development 
• Experience in firmware debugging, evaluation, and performance improvement

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience developing firmware for camera control
• Knowledge of image sensors, ISP, and image processing
• Experience developing communication-control firmware for technologies such as USB, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth
• Experience working in RTOS or Embedded Linux environments
• Experience designing firmware based on an understanding of hardware specifications
• Experience with mass-production development of consumer products

Compensation & Employment Conditions

Annual Salary: ¥6,000,000 – ¥10,000,000 

Salary will be determined based on experience, skills, and capabilities.

Nationality: Japanese nationals preferred 

Employment Type: Permanent / Full-time 

Probationary Period: 6 months 

Working Hours: 8 hours per day with a 1-hour break. Employees may select their working schedule within the 9:00 AM–7:00 PM time range. 

Example Working Hours:

• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM 
• 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM 

Work Location: Tokyo Head Office 

JLPT N3 or ABOVE required 

Remote Work: Available 

Remote-work conditions may vary depending on the position, including restrictions to working from home or availability only for a specified period.
