Job Description

UDOBOTS is seeking a passionate Embedded Engineer to design, integrate, test, and validate electrical systems, avionics, and payloads for UAV and robotics applications. Candidates with strong hands-on experience through internships, projects, or UAV/aerospace competitions are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and integrate electrical architectures, embedded systems, wiring harnesses, and power distribution systems.
• Develop and test power electronics circuits, DC-DC converters, battery management systems (BMS), and protection circuits.
• Integrate flight controllers, ESCs, GPS/GNSS modules, telemetry systems, sensors, and communication interfaces.
• Conduct system-level testing, troubleshooting, validation, and fault diagnosis.
• Perform SIL/HIL testing and analyse system performance through logs and test data.
• Prepare technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and test reports.

Required Skills

• Embedded systems and electronics fundamentals.
• PCB assembly, soldering, wiring, crimping, and circuit debugging.
• Knowledge of power electronics, batteries, and BMS.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, and PWM.
• Hands-on experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment.
• Basic programming skills in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.

Preferred Skills

• UAV/Drone systems and avionics integration.
• PX4, ArduPilot, Mission Planner, QGround Control.
• STM32 microcontrollers.
• MATLAB/Simulink.
• EMI/EMC troubleshooting and validation.
• Experience in UAV competitions, robotics projects, or aerospace applications.
