Role Summary:
Responsible for architecture, design, prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for consumer electronic devices. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver robust embedded software solutions.
What Youll Do:
- Design and implement software for consumer electronic devices
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Experience in architecture & design, prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for consumer electronic devices
- Proficiency in C, C++/C++11, JavaScript, JSON
- Experience with multi-threading, Cmake build system, cross compilation, Linux (process, filesystem, permission, memory), Linux shared library analysis, Linux IPC/message queues, journald log analysis, debugging core dumps, and troubleshooting
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience with Boost ASIO, Linux boot-up, Linux interprocess communication, Linux Services/Daemon, Socket Programming, OOAD, C++14 & 17 features
- Adaptive media streaming, media playback, multimedia frameworks (Gstreamer, ffmpeg, Wayland/directfb, Apple Airplay, PlayReady DRM 4.x)
- Websockets, REST API, SnapCraft, Docker, Conan, Github actions, make, meson, unit test frameworks (Catch2, GoogleTest, BDD), Rust, Python, Jira, Shell scripting
- Basic understanding of cryptography and TCP/UDP packet filtering & analysis
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent field
