Embase Literature Search Specialist Pharmacology/Biomedical Sciences

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong domain expertise in pharmacology, toxicology, biomedical/clinical sciences, or medical devices, and hands-on experience with Embase, to support literature search and review functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct systematic literature searches and reviews using Embase and related biomedical databases
• Screen, extract, and summarize relevant scientific/clinical data from literature
• Ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance of literature findings for regulatory, safety, or research purposes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (medical writing, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, or R&D as applicable) to deliver literature insights
• Maintain documentation standards and search audit trails

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field or PharmD
• Minimum 2+ years of current, hands-on experience in pharmacology/toxicology, biomedical/clinical sciences, or medical devices
• Demonstrated working experience with Embase (mandatory)
• Strong analytical and scientific writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage search timelines

Good to Have:

• Experience with other databases such as PubMed, Scopus, or Cochrane
• Prior exposure to systematic literature reviews (SLR) or pharmacovigilance literature monitoring
• Familiarity with regulatory literature requirements (FDA, EMA, or similar)
