Elv Design Engineer

AECOM India is seeking to hire young and dynamic Experienced professional ELV Senior Leader with good communication and technical knowledge for our Pan India offices. This is a great opportunity to be actively involved in an innovative and highly motivated team of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) engineering professionals working in India and across the globe. The team is currently delivering a wide range of projects including Owners Engineer, Design & Engineering and Project Management services as well as front-end work such as feasibility studies and concept design across various infrastructure sectors like Digital/Data Center, Semiconductor, Advance.

Responsibilities:

Support design and execution of ELV systems, including:

• Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (FDAS)

• CCTV & Video Surveillance

• Access Control Systems

• Public Address & Voice Evacuation (PAVA)

• BMS / IBMS / DCIM integration

• Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security/Physical Security

• Prepare drawings, BOQs, and compliance documentation

• Coordinate with MEP, IT, Architecture, Civil, and Client teams for seamless system integration.

• Review and approve vendor submittals, technical proposals, and shop

drawings.

• Support construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Ensure compliance with international and local standards (NFPA, IEC, IS, NBC,BS, TIA/EIA).

• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

Job Description

• Working knowledge of current industry software like Navisworks, Revit, ACAD,etc.Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with projects similar in function, size and scope to the description above.

• Experience in large commercial, data centre, health care, Industrial, or

Infrastructure projects

• Exposure to IP-based and integrated ELV systems.

• Bachelors degree in electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.

• Familiarity with BIM coordination processes and multidisciplinary model reviews is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Indian codes is mandatory. Familiarity with IEC/EN/BS/API etc is added advantage.

• Working knowledge of current industry software, including Navisworks, Revit, ACAD.
