Electronics Hardware Design Engineer(Ranjangaon)

Role & responsibilities

Purpose of the Job
Support PCB design and layout activities for Schmersal products.
Support product qualification, verification, and approval activities.
Coordinate with external partners, including suppliers and certification bodies.
Assist in maintaining and updating electronic circuits of products in series production.
Learn and adhere to Schmersals hardware development processes.
Contribute to component evaluation and technical documentation.

Major Activities / Principal Accountabilities
Create and review PCB designs and layouts.
Define PCB layout requirements.
Support prototype building, testing, and debugging.
Support product qualification and verification activities.
Support product approval and certification activities in accordance with relevant
standards.
Coordinate technical activities with external suppliers, certification bodies, and other

technical partners.
Update technical documents, design notes, specifications, and qualification records.
Support resolution of technical queries during product testing and approval.

Core Skills
Practical experience in PCB design and layout.
Understanding of analog and digital electronics.
Ability to read component datasheets and select passive and active components.
Exposure to microcontrollers, LDOs, DC-DC converters, and communication
interfaces.
Ability to use laboratory equipment such as a multimeter and oscilloscope.
Experience in product qualification and verification.
Exposure to certification processes, product approval, and relevant standards.
Ability to coordinate with suppliers, certification bodies, and external technical
partners.
