Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling Integrator / IBM Connect:Direct Specialist to support and manage B2B integration, file transfer, and EDI operations. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Connect:Direct environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI) and IBM Connect:Direct environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot EDI and managed file transfer (MFT) processes.
• Configure trading partners, business processes, and communication protocols.
• Support EDI transactions (X12, EDIFACT, XML) and file transfer workflows.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Resolve production issues and provide L2/L3 technical support.
• Collaborate with business, application, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integrations.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and IBM Connect:Direct.
• Strong knowledge of EDI (X12, EDIFACT, XML).
• Experience with AS2, FTP/SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S communication protocols.
• Knowledge of managed file transfer (MFT) solutions.
• Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
