Electronic Data Interchange Developer

• Advanced proficiency with SEEBURGER BIS/BIC and BIC Mapping Designer, including message structures and direct mappings. Experience with SEEBURGER BIS Mapper, or demonstrated ability to learn it for the planned migration.
• Proven mapping experience with X12, ISO, EDIFACT, NACHA, flat-file, and CSV formats.
• Ability to design DOT-based canonical data models and reusable mapping patterns.
• Knowledge of SEEBURGER overlay architecture, including inheritance, template overlays, extension points, and reusable versus partner-specific logic.
• Experience using SEEBURGER CMA for layout, structural, and compliance validation.
• Ability to convert partner specifications and business requirements into detailed integration designs.
• Experience across the full delivery lifecycle: development, testing, QA, deployment, and production support.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for mapping, transformation, validation, and production issues.
• Sound programming knowledge, including variable scope, data structures, modular design, maintainability, and safe code modification.
• Ability to independently research technical documentation, training materials, recordings, and existing solutions. Ability to complete technical training and apply new knowledge with minimal guidance.
• Ability to incorporate code-review feedback and consistently follow established mapping standards.
• Strong technical-writing skills for designs, mapping specifications, runbooks, and support documentation. Effective knowledge-transfer, mentoring, and technical communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile teams and managing commitments through Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of software or integration development experience delivering complex production solutions.
