About the Role

• To design and develop precise electrode models for tooling and manufacturing
• To ensure accuracy, quality and efficiency while collaborating with Engineering team to meet production requirement. The maintaining of up-to-date job history files.
• Extract the electrodes for medium and large size plastic injection moulds
• Advise supervises of project status, timing, resource availability and capability.
• Assist in establishing design completion dates and timelines.

Qualifications & Experience
Requirements:

• 5-8 years experience with Unigraphics/NX
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Design medium & large size plastic injection moulds to North America standards
• Knowledge of EDM processes and plastic injection mold components
• Ability to work well with others and independently, exhibiting teamwork skills with other engineers and designers
• Familiarity with EROWA or similar tooling systems
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience as a Plastic Injection Mold Designer
• Diploma or Degree in Plastic Engineering / Mould Design / Tool & Die, CAD/CAM, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Design is an asset
• Willingness to develop and advance knowledge as industry and technology changes.
