Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical circuits and electrical equipment issues to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs and PLC systems ; knowledge of PLC programming will be an added advantage.
• Handle maintenance and troubleshooting of Diesel Generators (DG), air compressors, and associated electrical systems .
• Troubleshoot and maintain Tape Edge, VCM, CCM, and Spring Plant machinery .
• Perform control panel wiring, electrical connections, and fault identification .
• Monitor equipment performance and support calculation and analysis of MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) .
• Ensure timely resolution of electrical breakdowns and minimize machine downtime.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain proper records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and plant safety standards.
• Coordinate effectively with production and maintenance team members for timely resolution of equipment-related issues.
• Maintain flexibility to work across all three shifts , including rotational shifts as required.
• Identify recurring electrical and equipment issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain proper documentation of breakdowns, repairs, spare parts, and maintenance activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Around 6 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience .
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing/plant maintenance.
• Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with the maintenance and production teams.
