Job Summary

Maintains electrical systems by providing electrical power and equipment; offering engineering support.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
• Responding to breakdowns
• Diagnosing faults
• Repairing equipment
• Supervising technical staff
• Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
• Managing budgets
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
• Creating maintenance procedures
• Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
• Daily hospital safety rounds
• Take regular floor/ facilities rounds and take energy conservation initiatives
• Assist at the time of emergency code activation
• Negotiate with vendors and material procurement
• Taking Training related to Electrical engineering

Working conditions

• Will work in Shifts (Morning, Evening Night) of 8.5 hours a day.
• Will remain on call for emergencies.
• Stretched working hours
