Electrician Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on industrial plant machinery, including CNC machines, compressors, and gas refilling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical panels, LT/HT switchgears, motors, VFDs, and basic PLC systems to minimize plant downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections of wiring, lighting, and electrical layouts to identify and resolve potential hazards.
• Ensure strict compliance with industrial safety protocols and standard operating procedures, particularly concerning electrical safety in a gas-handling environment.
• Maintain accurate daily maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and inventory of essential electrical spare parts.
• Assist in the safe installation, wiring, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment on the shop floor.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: ITI (Electrician) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial plant.
• Skills: Strong ability to read electrical schematics, handle testing tools (multimeters, meggers), and work efficiently in a fast-paced shop floor environment.
