Electrician / Electrical Trade

Role & responsibilities

1. Experience in HT & LT electrical installation and maintenance.
2. Basic knowledge of electrical drawings, SLDs and Hazardous Area classification.
3. Good knowledge of electrical safety and safe working practices.
4. Carry out project electrical installation, testing and commissioning as per approved drawings and specifications.
5. Knowledge of fault finding and troubleshooting in panels, motors and other electrical equipment.
6. Knowledge of installation of cable trays, supports, lighting fixtures, power points and electrical accessories.
7. Ensure electrical work is carried out as per approved drawings and safety standards.
8. Carry out installation and maintenance of earthing and lightning protection systems.
9. Carry out regular inspection and preventive maintenance of panels, motors, DBs, DGs, cables, lighting and other electrical equipment.
10. Coordinate and supervise electrical contractors and check their tools, equipment and work quality.
11. Monitor material availability and site activities, and report delays or issues.
12. Attend breakdowns, ensure quality and safety, and independently handle assigned electrical work and maintenance activities.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Qualification: - ITI Electrician / Electrical Trade from a recognized institute.

2. Experience: - 4-5 years.
