Electrical Technician Data Centre Operations & Maintenance (O&M)

Role & responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Data Centre electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, HT/LT systems, UPS, DG sets, transformers and electrical distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and take corrective action to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
• Carry out routine inspections and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, permit-to-work and LOTO/isolation requirements.
• Maintain maintenance checklists, equipment logs, fault reports and shift handover records.
• Immediately report equipment abnormalities and unsafe conditions.
• Support 247 Data Centre Operations & Maintenance activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Instrumentation.
• More than 3 years of experience in electrical Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
• Experience with DG sets, UPS, transformers, electrical panels, electrical distribution and HT/LT systems.
• Data Centre or critical infrastructure experience will be preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, safety procedures and maintenance documentation.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts in a 247 operational environment.
• Candidates with relevant electrical trade qualifications may be considered subject to client approval.
