Job Description:

The Projects Engineer is responsible for supporting the erection, testing, and commissioning of mega-watt scale projects, applying engineering expertise in Electrical disciplines. The role involves ensuring compliance with codes and standards, contributing to design activities, coordinating procurement, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution

• Apply technical expertise in the respective engineering discipline to execute erection, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure safety systems, protection mechanisms, and control strategies are integrated and functioning as per specifications.

Design & Engineering Support

• Support design activities related to power generation, distribution systems, or civil/mechanical infrastructure.
• Conduct engineering studies, calculations, and simulations to validate designs.
• Prepare specifications for materials and equipment based on project requirements.

Standards & Compliance

• Interpret and apply relevant codes, standards, and best practices for project execution.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Procurement & Vendor Coordination

• Assist in evaluating technical proposals during procurement.
• Work with the procurement team to coordinate supplier deliveries, ensuring timely and compliant equipment/material supply.

Collaboration & Communication

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, site teams, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational policies, operational procedures, and industry advancements.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay informed on emerging technologies and evolving industry standards.
• commend process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
