Electrical Site Engineer (Data Center Constructions)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical installation works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Oversee installation of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, batteries, busducts, cable trays, cabling, and earthing systems.
• Review electrical layouts, SLDs, shop drawings, and technical specifications before execution.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, HVAC, ELV, QA/QC, and Testing & Commissioning teams.
• Monitor daily progress, manpower deployment, material availability, and subcontractor activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, approved method statements, inspection plans, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate electrical inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, as-built drawings, and punch-list closure documentation.
• Resolve site issues and coordinate with design teams, consultants, and project management for timely execution.

Preferred candidate profile

• 510 years of experience in electrical site execution in MEP/EPC projects, preferably in data center construction.
• Strong knowledge of critical power systems, including HT/LT, UPS, DG sets, transformers, and power distribution.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of electrical testing, QA/QC, safety standards, and site coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office preferred.
