About this role

Position: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, instruments, and plant utilities.
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of motors, panels, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
Perform calibration of instruments and maintain calibration records.
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, statutory, and electrical standards.
Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
Analyse equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and QA departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Maintain maintenance logs, SOPs, and documentation.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.

Experience: 6-8 years in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industry.

Skills:

Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial instrumentation.
Familiarity with calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of electrical safety and GMP documentation.
