Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) activities for WHRS Boiler operations
• Ensure smooth functioning of electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation loops
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of E&I equipment
• Monitor and maintain DCS/PLC systems, field instruments, and control systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation faults effectively
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety standards and electrical regulations
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance logs, reports, and inspections
• Coordinate with operations, mechanical, and maintenance teams for plant efficiency
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
• Ensure minimum downtime and optimize plant performance
• Handle electrical load management and energy optimization
• Supervise and guide a team of technicians and junior engineers
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, LOTO procedures, and permit systems
• Support plant audits, shutdowns, and performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain inventory and ensure availability of critical spares and tools

Preferred Candidate Profile

• BE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering with valid Electrical License (Mandatory)
• BE: 12+ years / Diploma: 15+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in WHRS Boiler / Thermal Power Plant is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, and protection systems
• Expertise in instrumentation systems, calibration, and control philosophy
• Experience in DCS/PLC systems (operation & troubleshooting)
• Good understanding of safety standards and statutory compliance
• Proven leadership skills with experience in handling site teams
• Ability to work under pressure and manage critical plant operations
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
