Summary:

UST is looking for an Electrical Hardware Engineer . Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of complex electrical / electronics problems with limited to no supervision. Interfaces with internal and external customers regarding complex electrical issues for specific projects. Implement concepts for a wide range of complex product issues and solutions. Specify and/or perform engineering analysis. Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports

Key Responsibilities

In- Analog & Digital circuit design using ADC, DAC, Op-amps, Transistors, MOSFETS, Sensors, Signal Conditioning circuits, microcontroller/ Microprocessor, Memories, Various communication interfaces (I2C,SPI, RS485,Ethernet), IOT platforms

Experience with designs using Industrial IO modules, industrial controllers (PLC), PID controllers, Industrial bus protocols(Ethercat, Devicenet ) etc.

Experience in developing detailed schematics and schematic capture using CAD tools.

Electronic circuit modeling & simulation.

Worked on projects from requirement to final product release (circuit design, prototyping and testing) and maintenance.

Hand on experience on testing tools(DSO,DMM,FG, electronic loads etc.), , circuit validation, board bring up , functional testing , trouble shooting, Failure analysis .

Expertise on PCB design process, Technical document writing

Other skills

Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services

solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions

Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
