Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Pod Lead

About the role
Lead a pod of 5 to 10 technical trainers creating terminal-based scientific and engineering tasks for AI training and evaluation. Ensure technical accuracy, reproducibility and reliable automated grading.

Responsibilities
• Review codebases, circuit netlists, HDL, datasets, reference solutions and automated tests.
• Validate systems, HPC, parallel computing, circuit design, signal processing, power and embedded systems workflows.
• Check algorithm correctness, numerical accuracy, memory management, concurrency, circuit laws, timing and system stability.
• Validate build environments and identify nondeterministic tests, race conditions and unreliable performance thresholds.
• Mentor trainers, provide actionable feedback, allocate work and track quality.

Requirements
• Ph.D., postdoctoral experience or equivalent advanced experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong C/C++, Rust, Python, Julia, Fortran, MATLAB/Octave or HDL skills; advanced Linux and terminal proficiency.
• Expertise in parallel computing, systems programming, scientific software, circuit simulation, signal processing, power systems or digital hardware.
• Experience reviewing complex codebases, simulations or research outputs and leading small technical teams.
• Strong analytical judgment, testing knowledge and written communication.

Preferred
MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, LLVM/GCC, CMake, debugging tools, ngspice, Verilator, Yosys or power-system tools; Docker, Git, pytest, benchmarks or AI evaluation experience.
