Electrical Engineer experience on basic and detailed design and project co-ordination of Electrical works on Infrastructure, Power, Oil and Gas and MT projects.
Has a good knowledge of Electrical System and Physical design, the principles, and practices of related technical areas and of coordinating with other technical disciplines. Candidate should have exposure to Indian, US, Euro and other foreign codes/standards and local practices.
Major Responsibilities
- Performs electrical discipline work which involves the preparation, interpretation or review of calculations, specifications, and electrical layout plans including lighting and grounding systems.
- Participates in one or more of the following:
- Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL)
- Equipment design and development
- System design, including concept sketches and layouts
- Preparation of specifications and design calculations
- Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliers
- Preparation of engineering studies and reports
- Preparation or review of material quantity estimates
- Uses computer aided design/computer aided engineering (CAD/CAE) tools
- Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexity and prepares comments recommendations
- Assists in preparation of forecasts, quantity take-offs and change orders
- Participates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon directness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation and satisfaction
Education and Experience Requirements
- A recognized bachelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering, from an accredited college or university with an overall experience of minimum 8 years.
- Site experience will be an added advantage
