Electrical Engineer

Educational qualification: Bachelor/Masters in Electrical Engineering

Years of Experience: 5-10  years of relevant experience in power distribution box /control panel design

Notice : 0-45days.

Primary responsibilities: -

Creates electrical schematics for power boxes and system interconnects based on requirements received from cross-disciplinary teams.

Creates and releases engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.

Experience in using electrical design software like Zuken, AutoCAD or E-plan etc

Debugging and troubleshooting of control panels, LV systems,  PID controllers etc.

Works closely with Cross functional team including Mechanical Engineering, Supply chain, Test Lab, Program Management and global stakeholders while delivering assignments and projects.

Should be able setup H/W and S/W test setup with Power, control and communications

Should be able to work in the lab environment

Wire/cable sizing ,harness & design control panel layout

Controller power consumption calculation and design I/O signal interface drawings

Provides corrective solutions for Problem Reports of varying complexities on power boxes from suppliers and customers.

Desired skills:-

Experience in software interfacing with communication protocols devices (Ex: controls, sensors, instruments)

Skills: -

Proficiency in assessing loading, performing SCCR calculations, thermal calculations, wire sizing, busbar designs, switchgear selection, etc.

Proficiency in handling multiple configurations, logic for EMO, LOTO Concept, multiple power inputs and outputs.

Creation of electrical schematic diagram, control panel facility connections & field disconnects.

Must have worked on electrical engineering CAD tools like E3 ZUKEN or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation, form board flattening for EE documentation.

Experience with executing & reviewing FMEA, structured Investigation, Problem Solving & Decision Making.

Good understanding of different standards and compliances like NEC, NFPA 79, UL 508A, IEC standard, SEMI Standard (Electrical) - S2, S8, S22 etc.

Thorough understanding of Power Box architecture & components functionality
