Electrical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and support analog and digital electronic circuits, power distribution systems, control systems, and embedded electronic subsystems.
• Design and review electrical architectures, wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, connector selections, electrical panels, and interconnect systems.
• Support automation and control system development involving PLCs, drives, sensors, actuators, HMIs, and industrial communication interfaces.
• Perform electrical testing, functional verification, environmental testing, reliability testing, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
• Support PCB bring-up, prototype evaluation, hardware debugging, system integration, and product verification testing.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, specifications, test protocols, and verification reports.
• Manage product structures and releases through PDM/PLM systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in analog and digital circuit design using processors, microcontrollers, communication interfaces, signal conditioning circuits, and power supplies.
• Experience with schematic design tools such as OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent ECAD tools.
• Experience in industrial automation systems involving PLCs, drives, sensors, actuators, and control panels.
• Good understanding of electrical system architecture, power distribution, grounding, protection circuits, EMC/EMI, regulatory compliance and electrical safety requirements.
• Experience in wiring harness design, cable routing, connector selection, and electrical wiring documentation.
• Experience performing electrical verification, functional testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of PCB bring-up, hardware debugging, and system integration activities.
