Job Description Electrical Project & Maintenance Engineer

Location: Lalru, Punjab (Near Ambala/Chandigarh)
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 5+ Years
Industry: FMCG / Food Manufacturing

Job Objective

To manage electrical project execution, plant maintenance, packaging machinery, and automation systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute electrical projects involving HT/LT panels, transformers, substations, DG sets, UPS, and power distribution systems.
• Handle installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot packaging machines and automated production lines.
• Work on PLC, SCADA, HMI, sensors, drives, and industrial automation systems.
• Manage automation integration between packaging machines, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Perform breakdown analysis, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and power changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for project execution and machine integration.
• Ensure electrical safety, LOTO, Permit-to-Work compliance, and maintenance documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, and power distribution.
• Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and project commissioning.
• Practical exposure to packaging machinery, PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of machine integration, troubleshooting, RCA, and safety compliance.
