Electrical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical work for construction and infrastructure projects.
• Review electrical drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Monitor electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, civil engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and government project requirements.
• Inspect electrical materials and ensure the quality of installation work.
• Prepare electrical BOQs, cost estimates, and material requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and coordinate necessary repairs.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain daily progress reports and electrical work documentation.
• Conduct site visits to inspect electrical work and resolve technical issues.
• Travel to different project sites across Gujarat as per project requirements.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates to senior management.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned electrical work.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in electrical drawings, BOQ preparation, and material estimation.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and quality control.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with project managers, contractors, and other departments.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
