Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for industrial equipment using CAD tools.
• Design control panels for industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Utilize industry-standard electrical CAD software to develop accurate designs for stand-alone equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate electrical systems into mechanical assemblies.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure proper documentation for production.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes or feedback.
• Support programming and configuration of PLC/HMI systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, B&R, Beckhoff) for equipment control.
• Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and company guidelines.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD tools for schematic and panel design.
• Experience in control panel design for industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with PLC/HMI programming and configuration (Siemens, Allen Bradley, B&R, Beckhoff preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, power systems, control systems, and industrial automation.
• Understanding of electrical components, circuits, and industrial automation systems.
• Understanding of relevant codes and standards (NEC, IEC, UL).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for documentation and BOM management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical drafting within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
