Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on exposure to 220kV Substation projects and Power Transmission & Distribution works. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating electrical project activities, reviewing technical requirements, monitoring project progress, and supporting site/project teams from the Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor electrical activities related to 220kV substations and transmission & distribution projects.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, SLDs and technical documents.
• Coordinate with project sites, consultants, clients, vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Provide technical support to site teams for electrical installation and commissioning activities.
• Review and track material requirements, procurement status and material delivery for electrical works.
• Coordinate activities related to transformers, CT/PT, circuit breakers, isolators, protection systems, busbars, control panels, batteries and other substation equipment.
• Review testing and commissioning requirements and coordinate with site teams.
• Monitor quality, safety and compliance requirements related to electrical works.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and site execution challenges.
• Prepare and review project reports, MIS and progress updates for management.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants and project teams.
• Ensure project activities are completed within the planned schedule and required quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in 220kV Substation projects.
• Practical knowledge of Power Transmission & Distribution projects.
• Good understanding of electrical equipment, substation systems and installation practices.
• Knowledge of HT systems, protection systems, earthing, cabling and testing & commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Willingness to coordinate with and visit project sites as required.
• Need to visit project sites for coordination and monitoring progress

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.

Preferred Industry Experience

Infrastructure | EPC | Power Transmission & Distribution | Substation Projects | Electrical Projects

Key Requirement: Candidates must have hands-on experience working on 220kV Substation projects.
