Role & responsibilities
Ensure that all electrical facilities and electrical controls are within
FEA/legislative standards •
- Ensure all back up generators are operational and sized correctly to meet site
power demands •
- Effectively assist the Engineering Manager with Capex & R&M and plant
improvement projects from an electrical engineering and strategic direction. •
Undertake other duties that are relevant to area of expertise (electrical) at any
other company site to assist and support other team achieve overall site
operational and safety goals. •
- Ensure all plant and equipment run efficiently and safely with minimum
downtime • Ensure that all HRC fuses are changed to RCD breakers for all DB,
and other electrical installation. •
- Six monthly review, testing and tagging of all electrical appliances •

Experience/Qualifications Required
- Minimum of a Diploma or similar tertiary
qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical Wireman license
- Knowledge of PLC and other control
systems.
- Experience with electronics, or mecha
tonics
- Work experience of at least 5 years with
maintenance in food industry or in
Poultry
