Electrical Engineer - CNC / VMC

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle electrical installation and commissioning of CNC/VMC machines.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, control, and automation-related machine issues.
• Troubleshoot CNC controllers, PLCs, servo drives, spindle drives, motors, sensors, relays, contactors, and electrical panels.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC/VMC machines.
• Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and machine schematics.
• Configure and troubleshoot CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs, I/O signals, alarms, interlocks, and machine sequences.
• Perform parameter setting, servo tuning, drive diagnostics, and machine calibration support.
• Identify electrical root causes of machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with mechanical, production, service, and engineering teams for machine-related issues.
• Support machine modifications, electrical upgrades, retrofits, and automation projects.
• Prepare electrical troubleshooting reports, maintenance records, and service documentation.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
• Provide technical support to customers/operators where required.
