Electrical Engineer - Air Cooled Heat Exchangers

Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to handle electrical engineering and project execution activities for Air Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE).

Key Responsibilities

Study client specifications, electrical requirements and project documents for ACHE packages.

Prepare technical enquiries and specifications for electrical bought-out items including Axial Flow Fans, Motors, VFDs, Junction Boxes, Vibration Transmitters and Local Control Stations.

Review and technically evaluate vendor offers and coordinate with vendors for technical clarifications.

Conduct technical discussions with vendors and support finalization and placement of purchase orders.

Prepare/review electrical datasheets, drawings and technical documents for client/EPCM approval.

Attend client meetings and technical discussions and ensure timely closure of comments and queries.

Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Vendors, QA/QC and Project teams for smooth execution.

Visit project sites to supervise electrical assembly/installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Identify and rectify electrical issues during site assembly and commissioning.

Ensure compliance with client specifications, approved drawings and applicable standards.

Candidate Profile

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Candidates with 08 years of experience may apply.

Freshers with a strong interest in industrial electrical engineering are also welcome to apply.

Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, EPC or industrial equipment projects will be an advantage.

Knowledge of motors, VFDs, electrical panels/JBs and industrial electrical systems is preferred.

Good communication, technical discussion and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
