Electrical Designer Lead

Role & responsibilities

Preparation of equipment layout for Switchgear buildings , Transformer ,Switchyard (GIS and AIS upto 400 kV), etc.,

- Preparation of Single line diagram , Metering and Protection, Logic diagram

- Preparation of cable tray, cable duct bank, trench layout and its BOM

- Preparation of Cable tray support drawing and BOM

- Preparation of Lighting layout

- Preparation of earthing layout

- Preparation of Lightning protection layout

- Interface engineering with Civil, Mechanical, C&I discipline

- Modelling of equipment ,trays, duct bank, cable trench ,etc in 3D platform(E3D , SP3D)

- Preparation of Lighting calculation

- Vendor drawing review

- Awareness of Quality guidelines

- Good understanding of Indian and International codes

Preferred candidate profile

Experience with 13+ yrs in Combined Cycle Power Plant/Thermal Power Plant/Cogen Power Plant

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience in leading a team
