Electrical Designer Engineer - Solar Power

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Designer Engineer to support large-scale Solar Power, Power Plant, Oil & Gas, and Energy Infrastructure Projects. The role involves Electrical Layout Engineering, Cable Tray Design, Earthing Design, Lighting Design, 3D Modelling, and Electrical Equipment Engineering activities from concept through detailed engineering.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Electrical Design Engineering, Power Distribution Systems, 3D Modelling, and industry standards such as NEC and NEMA

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 8-12 years of experience in Electrical Design Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in Electrical Layout Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Cable Tray Design
• Earthing Systems
• Lighting Design
• Lightning Protection Systems
• Hazardous Area Classification
• Cable Scheduling
• Termination Scheduling
• DC UPS Systems
• Experience in 3D Modelling of Electrical Equipment and Instrumentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Electrical Design tools.
• Experience with DIALux for lighting calculations.
• Knowledge of NEC and NEMA standards.
• Strong understanding of Power Plant, Solar, and Oil & Gas engineering projects
