Electrical Design Engineer

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education Qualifications: B.E/B. Tech (Electrical/Electronics)
• Years of experience: 4-5 years (Min 3 years of relevant experience)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Understands and attains execution know-how of all business processes, standard & compliances, best practices etc. by participating in the conceptualization, detail engineering, development, documentation, and test/validations.
• Selection of Electrical & Electronics OEM components and materials for Power distribution, I/O Controllers, Sensors, Cables, PCBs etc.
• Create and Release system level electrical engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.
• Work on electrical/ electronic engineering CAD tools for circuit design & simulations.
• Good Understanding and application of signal integrity, EMI/EMC, SEMI, UL and IPC standards.
• Well versed with part life cycle management, Obsolescence management activities.

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

• Proficient in system level understanding of Electro-Mechanical sub-systems (Semi-conductor/Automotive/Aerospace), Power distribution systems and/or Industrial automation.
• Hands-on experience in Low/High Voltage Electrical designs for Power and Control applications and testing
• Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog & digital), development and associated electrical board design, troubleshooting and validation.
• Must have worked on any one of electrical engineering CAD tools like ZUKEN, PCAD, ORCAD, Cadence or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation.
• Hands on experience of Electrical and electronic components.

Desirable Skill:

• Experience with capital equipment (Semiconductor Industry), Electrical control/Power box or similar industry in sub-system / module design project.
• Hands on experience with PCB CAD tools in designing multilayer PCB
• OrCAD Capture CIS
• Cadence Allegro
• Working knowledge of applicable electrical related standards such as UL, CE, SEMI and IPC certification.
• Appreciates learnings and understand challenges and limitation with other desciplines on system design.
