Electrical design engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, SLDs, GA drawings, and internal layouts.
• Prepare power/control wiring diagrams and terminal plans.
• Select switchgear and prepare detailed BOM.
• Calculate panel costing and prepare quotations.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, and sales teams for technical execution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 35 years of hands-on experience in LT panel design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN.
• Expertise in SLD, schematics, GA, internal layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Practical knowledge of switchgear selection, BOM preparation, and panel costing.
• Able to independently handle design, estimation, and quotation preparation.
• Experience in PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, and distribution panels preferred.
