Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete solar project design and engineering activities
• Manage coordination of electrical, civil, structural, and SCADA design
• Review system sizing, layouts, SLDs, yield analysis, and technical specifications
• Optimise designs for cost, performance, and execution efficiency
• Coordinate with EPC, procurement, execution, and client teams
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, DISCOM, CEIG, and regulatory requirements
• Support techno-commercial proposals and tender evaluations.
• Lead design reviews, approvals, and engineering documentation
• Manage external consultants and internal design teams.
• Drive innovation, standardisation, and quality improvements

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of solar PV system design and engineering
• Expertise in PVSyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, ETAP, or similar tools
• Understanding of HT/LT systems, substations, and grid connectivity
• Project management and team leadership capability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• 05-10+ years in the solar/EPC industry
• Experience in utility-scale and C&I solar projects
• Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
