Electrical Design Engineer

Position: Electrical Design Engineer CAD Operator

Experience: 3+ Years
Qualification: Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control Engineering

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in EPLAN Electric P8, electrical schematics, control panel design, PLC and industrial automation. Experience in GenSet/DG/Generator systems will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Electrical Schematics, SLDs, Control Panel GA and fabrication drawings using EPLAN P8.
• Design control panels, power/control circuits and engine wiring harnesses.
• Select and size PLCs, MCB/MCCB, relays, contactors, HMIs, sensors and other electrical components.
• Develop PLC I/O architecture – DI, DO, AI, AO and support control system integration.
• Prepare BOMs and engineering documentation in ERP systems.
• Work with GenSet/DG, generator and engine control systems.
• Support Ethernet, CAN Bus, Modbus/Serial communication integration.
• Coordinate with software, mechanical, manufacturing and testing teams.
• Support panel testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis at factory/site.
• Willingness to travel to customer/project sites when required.
