About this role
Role and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and understanding of Electrical Schematics, point to point wiring diagram (Direct responsibility)
- Preparation of layout drawing – Electrical component placement inside the control station, master station (Not direct responsibility. Candidate has to guide the Mechanical engineer as per the wiring diagram)
- Basic understanding of Electrical component selection – Cable, Connector, Gland, Fuse, Relay, Contactor, Terminal block etc (Low voltage components)
- Basis idea on flame proof, Intrinsically safe components, Harzardous area specification (Optional)
- Understanding of different regulatory standards – IEC, EN, IEEE etc.
- BOM preparation
- Interaction with the overseas Customers on a daily basis.
- SAP knowledge (optional)
- Working experience on AutoCAD Mechanical/AutoCAD Electrical to prepare wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge on Autodesk Inventor (to check the 3D models, layouts etc prepared by Mechanical engineers)
