Electrical Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design electrical systems for power plants, substations, and switchyards using SLD (Single Line Diagram) software.
• Conduct cable sizing calculations to ensure efficient transmission of electricity from the power source to the load center.
• Develop detailed designs for earthing systems to prevent electrical hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues related to equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.

Job Requirements :

• 5-18 years of experience in electrical design engineering in the oil & gas industry.
• Proficiency in creating SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) for complex electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of cable sizing principles and practices for high-voltage applications.
• Experience with detail engineering activities such as transformer sizing, equipment sizing, and substation layout.
