Electrical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for the preparation, review, coordination and implementation of electrical engineering designs for oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, client requirements and construction schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

Develop electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD), power distribution layouts and equipment arrangements. Prepare electrical load lists, load calculations and power balance reports. Perform cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit and equipment sizing calculations.Prepare cable schedules, cable routing layouts and cable tray layouts. Prepare lighting and small power layouts, including illumination calculations. Prepare Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Requisitions and equipment specifications.Prepare Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) for electrical equipment and materials.
