Electrical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Study specifications and respective standards to select electrical components and prepare base design documents for review and approval.
• Prepare detailed design including but not limited to schematics, list of apparatus, general arrangement, layouts, labels, ferrule etc.
• Coordinate with concerned teams to create EPR items and issue purchase requests.
• Prepare BOMs, technical specifications, and other documents for procurement, production, QC, project management and customer.
• Provide technical support for mechanical design, procurement, production, project management, QC and QA.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, codes, and customer requirements.
• Contribute to design improvements for cost optimization and product performance.
• Actively contributes to product development and design modifications projects.
• Perform all duties on time, in line with direct managers directions and to achieve department KPI.
• Experience in Switchgear & Controlgear Assemblies or Protection & Control or Automation.
