Key Responsibilities

• Design Schematics: Design and develop electrical control panels, schematics, wiring diagrams, control circuits, power circuits, and panel layouts based on project requirements.
• Software Utilization: Create, review, and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
• Component Sizing Selection: Select appropriate electrical components including MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, overloads, power supplies, terminal blocks, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and ensure proper cable and protection sizing.
• BOM Specifications: Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and component specifications for electrical panels.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Project, Application, and Engineering teams for smooth panel manufacturing and project execution.
• Production Testing Support: Assist the production team in troubleshooting wiring/design issues during manufacturing, panel testing, inspection, and commissioning.
• Standards Quality: Ensure all drawings and engineering documentation strictly adhere to applicable electrical safety standards, quality norms, and company guidelines.

Required Skills Competencies

• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, interlocking circuits, power circuits, and industrial automation components.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, SMPS, protection devices, relays, and switchgear.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and translate them into efficient panel engineering designs.
