Electrical Control Technician

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Control Technician CNC Machine to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and control systems of CNC machines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth machine operations, minimizing downtime, and maintaining electrical and automation systems.

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines and electrical control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in CNC controllers, PLCs, servo drives, spindle drives, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuits.
• Troubleshoot machine alarms, electrical control circuits, and automation-related issues.
• Carry out electrical panel wiring, cable termination, component replacement, and control circuit maintenance.
• Maintain CNC machine electrical systems, safety interlocks, sensors, encoders, and machine interfaces.
• Support installation, commissioning, testing, and calibration of CNC machine electrical systems.
• Identify root causes of machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and equipment records.
• Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to ensure minimum machine downtime.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company maintenance standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical qualification.
• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, CNC controllers, servo drives, VFDs, and electrical control panels.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control circuits independently.
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar CNC control systems will be an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, machine tools, or industrial automation preferred.
• Candidates with hands-on CNC electrical maintenance experience will be preferred.

Experience:
