Electrical And Maintenance Manager

Purpose of the Job:

To manage and oversee electrical systems within the maintenance, projects, and facilities department, ensuring efficient operation, compliance with safety standards, and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Maintenance Activity: Oversee plant maintenance activities, including project work.

2. Machine Breakdowns: Attend to daily machine breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.

3. Preventive Maintenance Planning: Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) activities.

4. Root Cause Analysis: Implement approaches for root cause analysis, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Failure Mode Analysis (FMA), 5S, and ISO standards.

5. Energy Reduction: Develop and implement strategies to reduce electrical energy consumption.

Required Technical/Functional Skills:

1. Educational Background: BE in Electrical Engineering with strong foundational knowledge.

2. LT and HT Line Work: Experience with low tension (LT) and high tension (HT) line work.

3. Transformer Knowledge: Experience with 5000 kVA and above transformers.

4. Electrical Panels: Knowledge in designing and making logical electrical panels.

5. DISCOM and Contractors: Proficiency in dealing with DISCOM officials, electrical contractors, and electrical inspectors.

6. Factory Inspections: Hands-on experience in conducting electrical inspections of factories with electrical inspectors.

7. ISO Standards: Experience working in environments compliant with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14000 standards.

8. PLC and VFDs: Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
