EHS Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Officer to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at the workplace. The role involves implementing EHS policies, conducting risk assessments, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national EHS regulations and standards

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments

Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions

Organize and deliver EHS training and awareness programs

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and root cause analysis

Maintain EHS documentation, records, and statutory registers

Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for audits and inspections

Monitor waste management, environmental controls, and sustainability initiatives

Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization
